TRADITION · $59.00

The jewelry designer Cartier often used double rows of diamonds on his tiaras, "that they may freely sparkle with every move of the wearer". This crown was inspired by a 1904 style from the Cartier collection. Many of the older families in England today uphold a long-standing tradition in which the bride wears a tiara that belonged to a family ancestor. By doing so, she marks her transition from one family to another. She will never wear the tiara again, but it's place will be taken by many small gifts of jewelry from her husband. Be sure to remind him of that!

The tiara remains as significant today as it did for the older families of England, and this tiara is no exception. 7 inches of sparkling Austrian leaded glass crystals will gleam with a special sparkle when you walk down the aisle, letting your family and guests know that you intend to uphold family tradition. The double band makes it more than a headband but less than a tiara, yet adds much more sparkle to the crown. The natural luster silver finish works well with both white and off-white gowns.
